My real name is Anna Madsen Fogel and I'm a certified veterinary technician (but I prefer the title "nurse"). I work with horses primarily, but I also enjoy wrestling with the uncooperative varieties of cows, alpacas, llamas, goats, sheep, and other species we see. I don't bruise easily.

I'm originally from San Francisco, and spent my wild 20's there doing things I will lie about if asked. I've lived in Houston and Nuernberg (that IS the correct spelling!), and been lucky enough to travel quite a bit in Europe and the U.S. I'm now settled in Philadelphia with my husband of ten years. We live with four cats who are constantly conspiring against us, and our dog (a Pugihuahua) who spends most of his time watching television.

My poems have been published in journals (so far, I've made two dollars). I've been a photo-journalist, worked as an artist's assistant, a genetics technician, a darkroom supervisor, and held influential positions as dish-washer, counter-girl at a coffee shop, fry-cook, baker, and temp. When I was 18 I took a job waitressing. I lasted four hours.

I love Day of the Dead stuff. I also collect photographs of famous men with their cats. My collection is paltry. Decent-quality photos of such a specific nature are hard to come by.
